Vesterålen
From our location on the Vesterålen we organize different nature experience. In the summertime, with daily departures, we organize bird-and seal safari from the small fishing village Stø. On this trips we come in close range to the wildlife that’s located on the small island Anda. We will see a lot of different bird species like; White-tail eagles, Puffins, Guillemots, Razorbills, Kittiwakes, Shags and a couple more. Besides birds you will see a colony of common seals and there will be a big change to see the Harbour Porpoise.
Besides our bird-and seal safari we organize nature-safaris on the fjords around the Vesterålen. Her we pass small islands, fishing villages and places you can’t come by car. We see White-tail eagles and Common Seals and if we are lucky we see one of the many whale species that are around here in the summertime.
From 2011 we try and are working on organizing whale-safari . Here the bird-and seal safari is included and the trips will be at night (more information further down).
The Vesterålen Islands offers visitors also extremely good fishing, both in the winter- as in the summertime. From 2011 we can offer our visitors guided fishing trips and those who don’t need a local guide can rent one of our 2 fishing boats.
Looking for the best holiday pictures? Join our photographer on one of his trips and he will assure you the best souvenirs you can have after visiting the Vesterålen. Our photographer is specialist in taking pictures of wildlife; whales, birds, seals and moose’s as an example.
In the wintertime we organize also fjord- and fishing trips, White-tail Eagle- and Nature-safaris, Photo courses and Guiding and last but not least Northern light excursions.
